A&S Dog Training is based in both Chesterfield and Old Whittington, with two superb training venues. These venues being ideally situated for people living in Chesterfield, Matlock, Mansfield and Eckington. A&S Dog training is a family run club run by husband and wife team Steve and Angela Fletcher with a vast amount of knowledge, and experience, catering for all breeds of dog and of any age, “we train you to train your dog”

The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme

A&S Dog Training is a Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme Listed Status training club, teaching the Puppy Foundation, Bronze, Silver and Gold levels. The Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme is the largest dog training programme in the UK. The Scheme is open to all dogs, young or old, pedigree or Crossbreed, whether Kennel Club registered or not. We are a professional, caring club and our aim is to assist handlers train their dogs to become well rounded, socialized and well behaved dogs. A dog that is part of the family, a pleasure to take out. We use fun based, positive reward training, encouraging the dogs and owners to have a strong relationship. We also offer 1-2-1 training . All classes are for 8 weeks and cost £55.00 payable in advance, once allocated.

It is highly recommended that you register your interest by giving us a call at the earliest opportunity, whether you have purchased your new puppy or are thinking of buying one in the near future.

One to One A & S Dog Training ChesterfieldWe know that not every person or every dog will feel comfortable going straight into a training class, or work commitments may prevent you attending our weekly eight week courses.

This is why we offer one to one training in the comfort of your own home at a time to suit you.

1-2-1 training sessions are designed for you and your dog.

Puppy Foundation Class A & S Dog Training Chesterfield

These courses are very popular and we therefore suggest you contact us as early as possible (before you get your puppy) to book in if possible.

The first week is always without your dog so that the club can provide you with useful information about how to care for and train your puppy. It is also an opportunity to meet the other members of the course and discuss puppy matters and what you hope to get out of the course.

 


Bronze Award A & S Dog Training Chesterfield

The Bronze Award Scheme builds on what your dog learns in the Puppy Foundation Scheme, before developing new skills and providing you with a basic knowledge and understanding in training your canine companion. (It is not essential for the Puppy Foundation Scheme to be completed before hand and there is no age limit on your dog).

Silver Award A & S Dog Training Chesterfield

Following on from the Bronze Course an owner can progress further by going onto the second level of training, the Silver Award.

Gold Award A & S Dog Training Chesterfield

The Gold Award is the highest level of achievement of the Scheme. During the Gold Award, you will build on skills learnt in the Silver Award and develop more advanced training skills for both you and your dog.
